Juliana Haggoo
Juliana Haggoo’s artistic journey began in 2005 in Paris, where she performed with a jazz band, sharing her passion for music through intimate concerts. This experience ignited her love for creative expression and led her to blend singing and dancing in Parisian cabarets. While exhilarating, the demanding lifestyle left her seeking a more personal and restorative artistic outlet.
In 2007, Juliana discovered painting as a way to channel her emotions and reconnect with herself. Immersing herself in abstract art, she began translating her inner world onto the canvas, often inspired by the rhythms of classical music and jazz. These genres, which fuel her creativity, shape her expressive brushstrokes and layered compositions.
Under the guidance of mentors, Juliana explored contemporary art, which allowed her to transform raw emotion into visually compelling forms. Her work today is a synthesis of her experiences in music, dance, and painting, embodying resilience, self-expression, and the transformative power of art.

Pinar Civan
Pinar Civan, born in Istanbul, is a nomadic artist who lives and works between Bern and Paris, drawing inspiration from her experiences across Africa and Europe. Her work is deeply intuitive, blending diverse materials to create textured, multi-layered surfaces that reflect her personal journey and the stories she encounters.
Pinar’s art focuses increasingly on themes of women’s presence and issues, expressed through a unique combination of abstract and subtle figurative elements. In her paintings, a chaotic harmony of colors, brushstrokes, hidden words, and drawings brings to life moments that exist between reality and imagination. Her goal is to evoke a musical and lyrical quality through emotion-driven compositions.
Inspired by people, cultures, languages, landscapes, and dances, Pinar interprets her surroundings in her own abstract way. She often incorporates unconventional materials found in the places she paints, adding layers of texture and detail influenced by nature and time. This approach gives her work a distinctive, dynamic quality that speaks to her life as a traveler and storyteller.
